How can I export a vehicle?

You will receive the vehicle documents and number plates at the pick-up location.

You can take these to the nearest RDW office [Dutch vehicle registration authority]. For branch locations, see: https://www.rdw.nl/over-rdw/contact/locaties

Once this is done, the notice of transfer must be handed in at the pick-up address. The vehicle can then be taken away. In some cases it is possible to have the export documents prepared for you on location for a fee.

A temporary export registration number with insurance may also be issued provided that the vehicle's MOT is valid for at least two weeks at the time of export.

For information on the options available, email cs@bva-auctions.com.
